I am so sad to hear this news! I will miss Dolly's friendly kindness at the weekly St James coffee hour when it resumes. And I am sorry to lose her friendship after so long having services on hold for COVID and not seeing her. I will never forget trying to explain yoga to her. She was a wonderful conversationalist and her love of music is ever-present. I wish Carlo and her family all the best.
Love,
Sarah Deacle

My heart is heavy and I mourn with you. I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. I came to know and love Dolly and Carlo when I became the cantor at Calvary where she was the organist. Having never sung in an Episcopalian church, ever the musician, Dolly got me upto speed with the service music and expanded my repertoire of Sacred Music in no time. For several years we had a standing weekly date to review music at their home in Conshohocken. It was that time spent together that I got to see and know the remarkable and amazing person she was. She had an excellent ear for picking out music that would highlight us both. I will be forever grateful that our paths crossed.

Our sincere condolences to Carlo and the rest of Dolly's family. Dolly donated music to The Church of Saint Mary at Calvary - Warwick, so her musical legacy lives. It was a special treat to know Dolly and minister with her at Calvary Church, Conshohocken.
May she rest in peace and rise in glory!

Doris became Organist at Calvary shortly after I became rector in 1978. Just before 1978 Marion Neville retired after having been Organist at Calvary from since about 1928. And Dolly continued to serve as Organist at Calvary until the Parish Closed/Relocated about 2 years ago. This means that Doris was Organist and Choral Conductor at Calvary for about 40 years following her mentor and predecessor Marion Neville. What a remarkable legacy and continuity of the "Calvary Episcopal Sound' and school of Episcopal liturgical music Dolly enabled to be carried on!

Great memories of Dolly at Calvary Episcopal Church were I grew up. Also she was always my best customer when I sold Girl Scout cookies. She was a very talented organist. She will be making sweet music in heaven.

This saddens me so much. I grew up with Dolly and her family. We attended Calvary Episcopal Church and enjoyed PlyMar swim club. Dolly and her family sat in the same group as my family. Her organ playing was exquisite. We always exchanged Christmas cards and whenever I was in the area, I made a point to stop by. Her sunny disposition and generous personality will be sorely missed. Dolly whatever would I have done without you? You were a Blessing Indeed and a Gifted Miniter of Music. A very Gifted Musician, a pupil of Marion Neville (?), A 'Daughter of Conshohocken'! and a Daughter of Calvary ! 'Back in the Day' as they now say, what higher tribute could there be?

My Aunt was a hardworking lady who was very generous with her time. She never forgot a birthday nor anniversary. I remember her fondly as a disciplinarian keeping us in line when we were very young and sometimes mischievous. Her strong character was equally balanced by her great love and compassion towards others.
She was always the first to help and lend a hand to anyone in need. She shared many recipes with us over the years. She taught us how to make a wide assortment of Christmas cookies, and her delicious baked macaroni and cheese.
We were blessed to have her travel with us to Las Vegas,NV., Sedona, AZ., and many places throughout Southern California (Including Crystal Cathedral, Disneyland, Pantages Theater in Hollywood, Reagan Library).
Though we lived many miles apart, my Aunt was always in our thoughts and prayers. We both have many great memories of my Aunt that will remain with us always.
May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
