Every summer, Mal and Joe and their beautiful daughters would travel to Massachusetts to visit with Aunt Betty and Uncle Phil. It was so much fun to see them. I was so pleased that Mal and Joe attended my wedding to my husband David. I danced a slow polka with Joe that day. I love the Kushla Family. Please accept my sincere sympathy in the passing of your mother. Mal was a beautiful person, one for the ages,

I have such fond memories of summer picnics at Aunt Mal and Uncle Joe's house. I still remember the street address. I remember playing in the pool with Chip, John, Debbi, Jimmie and Maggie. I can picture every room of the house in my mind. I remember playing hide and seek in the house and hiding behind the coats in the hallway closet behind Uncle Joe's chair. I remember hiding next to Uncle Joe and when someone came looking for me, he would send them in the wrong direction. I remember my Dad and Uncle Joe watching the Eagles on tv.
I also have fond memories of going to Cape May in the summer. I loved catching crickets in the house and throwing them outside. I loved how all the mom' would make sandwiches to bring to the beach for lunch. And of course, it was just the way you like it and labeled with your name on it so there were no mix ups.
One year when I was home from college I went over the house to visit Aunt Mal and Mum Mum. She would not let me leave without having a huge meal. It was so nice. Food is love.
We are all very lucky to have been raised by such loving, wonderful people.

I can remember when she sold children's clothes in her home. God bless one Cedar Heights to another.

Rose, Bob, Maddy, & the rest of the family, I am so sorry to hear of Madlyn's passing. Madlyn was an amazing woman. I haven't seen her in quite awhile, but I loved seeing the pictures of your adventures with her. I especially loved following your "Drag nights" :-) Hopefully those great memories at least bring comfort. Sending you all virtual hugs :-(
