Elizabeth Preston

Obituary of Elizabeth H. Preston

Sister to two, aunt to six, and friend to all passed peacefully on Monday night.
Always the brightest light of optimism, she is cherished, loved, and remembered
by everyone who had the good fortune to know her. She had an unmatched
capacity for love, generosity and good humor (unless you were talking politics!),
which she shared with the world. She lived life with exuberance and an
appreciation of family, friends, music, baseball, animals, politics, driving,
crosswords, movies, and much more. She was the life of every party and the
electric spark of every room she entered, and was, perhaps, the world's most
adaptable person—finding pleasure in every situation.
She lived life on her own terms, including her courageous battle with cancer.
She showed all of us what it means to live every moment to its fullest—with
passion, enthusiasm, positivity and bravery. She was, is, and always will be with
us—in spirit, in memory, and in heart—which is just what she intended!
Here's to Lizzie and what she meant to all of us; and may we all strive to honor
that memory by living life as she did—fully, deeply, remarkably.
WE LOVE YOU LIZ!!!!
