Obituary of Betty J. Preston

Betty J. Preston, 91, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016. She was born in Rices Landing, PA on July 4, 1924. Betty has lived in Conshohocken, Pa most of her life. She graduated from Conshohocken High School, where she excelled in basketball. She worked for over 35 years with ASTM. Betty enjoyed reading the bible and gardening and she was known for being an excellent photographer especially photos of Maine. Daughter of the late Arthur & Esther (Siebert) Preston. Survivors include her Niece: Linda Carpenter of West Conshohocken PA, Niece: Claire Rudesyle of Ardsley PA, Nephew: Glenn Petersen of CA, Nephew: Thomas Petersen of OR, Niece: Charlotte Cobb of FL. Also Survived By 3 Great Nieces & 4 Great Nephews and Many Great Great Nieces & Nephews. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by 3 Sisters Margaret J. Schuldt, Olive Petersen & Vera Preston and a Niece Beverly Slauch. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:00AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.
