Obituary of Karen M. Fetter
Karen Morse Fetter, 67, of Schwenksville PA, passed away at her home, unexpectedly, on April 8, 2021.
Karen was born on May 11, 1953 in Springfield, Vermont. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1971. Karen married James Keath Fetter in March of 1981. They had just recently celebrated 40 years of marriage. She retired in 2016 from the West Chester Area School District after 14 years of service.
She is survived by her husband James Keath Fetter; her daughters Julia Bannon (Craig) of Elkridge, MD and Katherine Schneider (Brian); 5 grandchildren—Claire, Daulton, Ethan, Blake, and Natalie. She is also survived by her brother, James Morse (Jan) of Bremen, IN.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Barbara Morse.
She loved to read and travel. She got the most joy from spending time with her grandchildren and daughters. Karen will be remembered for always being the life of the party and the first person on the dance floor.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 16 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore, Snear, and Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 W. Main St., Trappe, PA 19426. Following the visitation, a service will be held at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. James' Church Cemetery, Collegeville.
