Obituary of Jane E. Lowe

Jane E. (Hoy) Lowe of Plymouth Meeting, Pa. passed away on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at the Regina Nursing Center of Norristown, Pa. She was 89. Born in Pottsville, Pa. on June 27, 1923, Jane has been living in Blue Bell, Pa. for over 40 years, formerly of Norristown and Pottstown, Pa. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church of Plymouth Meeting, Pa. Jane was a US Navy Veteran of World War II, serving as a nurse in Bethesda, Md. She was an Obstetrics Nurse with Montgomery Hospital Maternity and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family. Jane was predeceased by her husband, the late Anthony A. Lowe, Sr. and her parents, Clayton and Edith (Yeager) Hoy. She is survived by two sons, Anthony A. (Barbara) Lowe, Jr. of Harleysville, Pa. and Charles F. (Janice) Lowe of Gilbertsville, Pa.; two daughters, Mary E. (Jim) Monahan of Plymouth Meeting, Pa. and Joanne E. (Paul) Altomare of East Norriton, Pa.; and 12 Grandchildren. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday January 11, 2013 at 11:00 A.M from the Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church, 3050 Walton & Townshipline Road, Plymouth Meeting. Fr. Kevin Kelly will be officiating. Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:50 A.M. at the Church. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: Epiphany of Our Lord RC Church, 3050 Walton Road, Plymouth Meeting, Pa. 19462.
