Obituary of Matthew J. Copley, Jr.

Matthew J. "Moe" Copley, Jr., age 72, of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away on Monday March 14, 2016 . He was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 22, 1943. Matthew has been living in Plymouth Meeting, Pa since 1976, formerly of Warminster, Pa and South Philadelphia, Pa where he was born and raised. He was a member of St. Philip Neri RC Church of Lafayette Hill, Pa. He was a retired Union Carpenter. Matthew also was the former co-owner of Markley Billiards of Norristown, Pa and Eagles Nest Deli of Mont Clare, Pa. Moe was a great pool player and a very devoted family man. Son of the late Matthew J. & Margaret ( Andrilli ) Copley. Survivors include his Wife: Marie (Gagliardi ) Copley Plymouth Meeting PA Son: Matthew J. Copley, III Collegeville PA Daughter: Peggy ( & Dr. Gregory) DeRusso Plymouth Meeting PA Son: Richard E. Copley Collegeville PA Also survived by 7 Grandchildren: Monica Copley, Matthew Copley, IV, Christina DeRusso, Anna DeRusso, Jacqueline DeRusso, Richard Copley, Jr., & Lucas Copley And a Great Grand daughter Katalina Cardona His Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 11:30 AM from the St. Philip Neri RC Church 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, Pa 19444. Clergy: Msgr. Charles P. Vance will be officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday March 16, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Church. Interment will be private.
