Obituary of Michael J. Goreski

Michael J. Goreski, age 45, of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021.

He was born in Norristown, PA on February 18, 1976, the son of Anthony and Linda (Rorick) Goreski.

Michael was raised in Norristown and attended St. Patrick's Parish School.  He was an Altar Server at St. Patricks and a member of Asbury Church, Cub Pack #752.  He was a graduate of Methacton High School where he participated in the theater group.  He lived in Audubon and later Phoenixville where he has resided for 15 years.  Michael had a career for over 20 years in Customer Service for Acme Markets working in the King of Prussia and Eagle/Chester Springs stores.  He was also a dedicated evening counselor for special needs children at the Pathway School for 10 years.  Michael was Catholic and had a strong devotion to St. Faustina and the Divine Mercy.  

He is survived by his parents, Anthony (Tony) & Linda Goreski, Jr. of Audubon;

two brothers, Anthony (& Michele) Goreski, 3rd of Plymouth Meeting and David Goreski;

sister, Michelle Goreski;

grandmother, Barbara Rorick;

nephew and Godson, John Karol Goreski;

many aunts, uncles and cousins, and close friends, Valeria & David.  

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Rorick, and grandparents, Anthony (Pete) & Irene Goreski, Sr.  

His Funeral Mass was celebrated privately and interment took place in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.  

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Patrick's RC Church, 703 Green St., Norristown, PA 19401.
