John E. Hodum  

John E. Hodum, 80, of Norristown, PA passed away Monday, November 8, 2021.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pa on November 27, 1940, the son of the late John E. and the late Catherine (McClain) Hodum.

John has been living in Norristown for the last 21 years, formerly of Conshohocken and Lansdale.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Norristown, and a former member of Cedar Heights Community Church.

John enyoed watching Western movies and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He worked as a Shipping & Receiving clerk with J. W. Rex Co. of Lansdale, Pa. 

He was the husband of Joanne M. (Hudson) Hodum.

Survivors include Wife Joanne Hodum of Norristown, Pa, Daughter Beth (& Gerald) Moore of Conshohocken, Pa, Brother William Hodum of Haddonfield, NJ, Brother Daniel Hodum of Bensalem, Pa.  Also survived by 3grandchildren Gregory, Jessica and Nicholas, and a great granddaughter Hailey.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son Patrick A. Hodum, a brother David Hodum and a sister Lorraine West.

His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 10:30 AM from First Baptist Church of Norristown, 445 Burnside Avenue, Norristown, PA.

Friends may call on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the church.

Interment will be private.
