Obituary of Jeanette M. Tarone

Jeanette M. Tarone, age 88, of Collegeville, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Anthony T. Tarone, Jr., who died in 1982.  Born August 29, 1933 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Kathryn (Roats) Cornwell. Jeanette was a proud graduate of the former John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls’ High School.

Before moving to Collegeville, Jeanette lived in King of Prussia for 40 years where she was a parishioner of Mother of Divine Providence RC Church.  She was currently a parishioner of St. Eleanor RC Church.  Jeanette enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.  She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and was happiest when she was able to spend time with them.  Jeanette will be remembered as a wonderful mother, nana, sister, aunt, and friend, and will be dearly missed by many.  

She is survived by her son, Anthony T. (Lisa) Tarone III, of Collegeville; sister, Dolores Giannotti of Huntingdon Valley; kid sister/niece Kathleen Falco of Harleysville; seven grandchildren, Michael, Courtney, Megan, Matthew, Angelina, Mia and Nicholas; and five great grandchildren, Christopher, Aaron, Bennett, Graeme and Lennon.

Along with her husband and parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her son, Gennaro M. Tarone, and six siblings.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM from St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426.  Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church.

Interment will take place in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
