Charles had lived most of his life in Jeffersonville, Pa He was a very active member of Bridgeport Presbyterian Church He served in the US Army during World War II, where he received Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Service Medal, AME Theater Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars and World War II Victory Medal He worked in tire production with B. F. Goodrich for over 30 years Charles enjoyed playing golf
