Obituary of Jena Leigh Savio

Jena Leigh Savio, 40, of Voorhees, NJ passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. 

Those who knew and loved Jena will sorely miss her brilliant mind, competitive spirit, quirky humor, and gentle heart. Jena graduated from Camden Catholic High School and received a B.A. with honors from Rutgers University. She was an avid reader who loved to share her favorite books. A creative spirit with a sharp intellect, Jena spent her time writing, drawing, and making jewelry. She never met a puzzle she couldn't solve or a brain teaser she couldn’t crack with ease. 

Jena also enjoyed exploring food and navigating the dynamic restaurant industry in every city she visited. She particularly appreciated the diversity and sophistication of NYC, the history and culture of Europe, and the whimsical magic of Disney. Despite her love of new places, she was a Jersey girl at her core and loved cheering on the Phillies, Eagles, and Scarlet Knights. After living in Florida, New York, and Philadelphia among other places, Jena returned home to New Jersey and settled in Evesham with her fiance Scott. 

Jena is survived by her mother Joanne (Cicione) Savio, father Joseph Savio (Patricia), brother Jeffrey Savio (Victoria), fiance Scott Nalick, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is admired, loved, and missed deeply by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Church (27 Kresson Gibbsboro Rd, Gibbsboro, NJ) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial private by request of the family.
