Obituary of Joseph A. Gambone, Sr.

Joseph A. Gambone, Sr., age 76, of Blue Bell, PA passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Norristown, PA on March 18, 1945, the son of the late Joseph and late Mary (Perpetua) Gambone.

Joe has been living in Blue Bell since 1977.  He was a parishioner of St. Helena RC Church.  He had a long career as a Produce Manager for A&P and Superfresh Supermarkets. 
 

Joe enjoyed time with his family, traveling, gardening and decorating for the holidays.  But most of all, he loved attending his grandkids sporting events. He was their biggest fan.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ann M. (Kane) Gambone of Blue Bell;

two sons, Joseph (& Christine) Gambone, Jr. of Gilbertsville and David (& Nicole) Gambone of Norristown;

daughter, Adrienne (& Joseph) Liotta of Blue Bell;

and six grandchildren, Maranda, Joseph III, Joseph, Anthony, Sophia and Nicholas. 

Along with his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Brianna Gambone. 

His Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM from St. Helena RC Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday, February 17 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church.   

Interment will take place in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, PA.
