Obituary of John D. Cassel

John D. Cassel, age 78, of Blue Bell, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

He was born in Upper Dublin, PA on April 8, 1943, the son of the late John P. and Gertrude (Breckwoldt) Cassel.

John has been living in Blue Bell for 40 years, formerly of Upper Dublin, PA.  He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Penn State University and he honorably served in the U.S. Navy.  

John was an avid reader.  He enjoyed shooting pool and was a longtime member of the American Pool Association.  He was also a Harley Davidson enthusiast.  

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan (Flury) Cassel of Blue Bell; daughter, Victoria (& Charles) Bunczk of Glenside; son, Eric Cassel of Norristown; and grandson, William. 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Cassel. 

Services and interment were private.
