Obituary of John P. Koniewicz

John Peter Koniewicz, 65, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on Tuesday May 3, 2016 .

 

He was born in Norristown, PA on December 12, 1950.

 

John has lived in Cedar Heights where he has lived most of his life.

 

He was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church, Conshohocken, Pa.

 

He was the 1963 winner of the Conshohocken Soap Box Derby.

 

He worked as a Tracker Trailer Driver for 33 1/2 years with Teamsters Local 384 & 107.

 

He enjoyed driving Indian and Harley Davidson motor cycles, hunting, fishing, wood working, with his two sons John and Robert and his brother Kevin.

 

Son of Maryann ( Hoban ) and the late Walter S. Koniewicz.

 

Survivors include his

Mother: Maryann (Hoban) Koniewicz Milford, DE

Son: John W. Koniewicz Conshohocken, Pa

Brother: Kevin Koniewicz Plymouth Meeting, Pa

Sister: Marlene Koniewicz Milford, DE

Sister: Cheryl Koniewicz Milford, DE

Also survived by a granddaughter Shaylin

 

Along with her father he was preceded in death by a sister Lorraine Voltz.

 

His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428.

 

Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home.

 

Interment will take place in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, Pa.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to his family to help with final expenses.
