Obituary of Frank Cemini

Frank Cemini, age 85, of Norristown, PA passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022.

He was born in Castello, Italy on March 18, 1937, the son of the late Silvio and Gioanna (Silvie) Cemini.

Frank has been living in Norristown since immigrating to the United States in 1959.  He was a parishioner of St. Francis RC Church and a member of the former LAM and the Holy Saviour Club.  He worked as a Diesel Mechanic and he was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather, spending a lot of time after his retirement with his granddaughter, Victoria.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lucia (Carducci) Cemini of Norristown;

three daughters, Joanne (& Brett) Scioli of Worcester, Rita (& Rich) Commo of Eagleville, and Sylvia (& Rob) Cruz of Ambler;

son, Michael Cemini of Norristown;

sister, Phyllis (& John) Giannone of Jacksonville, FL;

and two brothers, Dominic (& Barbara) Cemini of Collegeville and Leopold Cemini of Bridgeport.

He is also survived by five grandchildren, Timothy Visitin, Brandon Commo, Victoria Visitin, Brianna Commo, and Isabella Cruz; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Along with his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Bernadine Madonna. 

His Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 10:30 AM from St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, 600  Hamilton St.,  Norristown, PA 19401.  Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church. 

Entombment will take place in St. Patrick's Mausoleum, East Norriton, PA.
