Obituary of Ann B. Sabia

Ann B. Sabia

Ann B. (Bolender) Sabia, 92, of Whitemarsh, PA passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022.

Born in Reading, PA on November 10, 1929, Ann is the daughter of Edward Jacob and Gertrude (Parker) Bolender. Ann was the beloved wife of Michael G. "Mickey" Sabia.

Ann grew up in Haverford, PA and spent most of her adult life in Lafayette Hill, PA. Ann was always deeply rooted; a member of St. Philip Neri RC Church of Lafayette Hill, Wissahickon Ski Club and Cedarbrook Country Club. In addition, Ann was an active participant and volunteer at Questers, Plymouth Meeting Historical Society and Laurel Hill Mansion Historical Society.

Early on, Ann had a passion for Interior Design and became a self-employed Designer. Ann's passion for the arts, architecture, design, and entertainment shaped who she continued to be throughout her life. From traveling all over the world - sailing, skiing, swimming, golfing, horseback riding and dancing. To sewing, knitting, and painting.
Ann collected art and antiques that hold as many stories as she does! Ann was the epitome of an entertainer - a fabulous cook, an impressive storyteller, and most importantly - cared for everyone in the room. Ann's most treasured passion was her love for her Husband, Mickey, her family, friends and animals.

Ann is survived by, Son Timothy Humes of Plymouth Meeting, Son Andrew (& Cathy) Sabia of Whitemarsh, also survived by her grandchildren Jackie (& Ames) Crawford, Nicole Ely, TJ (& Tara) Ely, Keith (& Courtney) Humes, Christopher Humes, Savanah Humes., Caitlyn (& Blair) Rizzetto, Andrew (& Megan) Sabia, Suzanne Sabia, Kelly Sabia, Shannon Sabia, and 8 great grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Christine Ely, a son Peter Humes who passed on May 15, 2022, and her siblings, Jane Bolender, Loretta Rath, Edward Bolender and Charles Bolender.
