Obituary of Francis M. Reidy
Francis M. Reidy, age 82, of Lafayette Hill, PA passed away surrounded by loved ones in his home on Thursday, August 25, 2022. He is now at peace and reunited with his late wife, Louise C. Marvel.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 7, 1940, the son of the late Jeremiah J. and Rose M. (Blake) Reidy.
Frank lived most of his life in the Lafayette Hill area. He was a member of the National Guard, Vice President at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, ranked #1 nationally at Squash, and head of the Czar League. He enjoyed good conversation, meeting new people, entertaining, and traveling. He loved the outdoors, photography, golf, reading and history. But what he loved most was his family.
He is survived by his brother, Gerald (& Mary Pat) Reidy. He is also survived by his children, Francis D. (& Lisa) Reidy and Judith A. (& J. Thomas) Cuthbertson; his grandchildren, Briana, J.T., Jessica, and Zachary; as well as nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
His Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Moore, Snear, & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will take place following services for immediate family and close friends in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler PA.
