Obituary of Mary R. Kulp

Mary Theresa (Richardson) Kulp, age 95 of Audubon, passed away on October 21, 2022. She was born in Bridgeport, PA. on October 9, 1927. Daughter of the late George & Mary (Schlosman) Richardson. She was a 1941 graduate of Saint Augustine’s Parochial School and Bridgeport High School, Class of 1945, attended Montgomery Hospital School of Nursing under the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps for 2 years.

A retired sales clerk, she worked for 12 years at Potter’s Wheel Gift Shop and Roshni’s Hallmark in Audubon. She worked for 8 years as a registration clerk for Valley Forge Council, BSA in Valley Forge. She was a minority inspector for Lower Providence 3-1 and 3-2 since May 1957.

A charter member of the Audubon-Oaks Lioness Club and secretary for 20+ years, a former member of the Colony Club of West Norriton, Audubon Women’s Club and Den Mother for Pack 313 in Audubon. She was a member of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

Wife of George H. Kulp, who passed away in 1983. Also preceded in death by son Gary D. Kulp. Survived by son Glenn T. Kulp (Patricia) of Zieglersville, son Gregg M. Kulp (Gail) of Audubon, daughter-in-law Margaret Kulp of Phoenixville, seven (7) grandchildren: Peter Kulp (Nicole), Ashley Pierce (Chris), Benjamin Kulp (Karyn), Timothy Kulp (Dani), Trevor Kulp (Krista), Rachel Martelli (Lenny), Amanda Kulp, seven (7) great-grandchildren: Aiden Pierce, Raegan Pierce, Andrew Kulp, Brooks Kulp, Caleb Kulp, Delaney Kulp, Parker Kulp, sister Arlene Coleman of Limerick, and several nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed travel with friends & relatives, sewing, baking, crafts, cards, reading, puzzles, and above all, babysitting her grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM in St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1260 S. Trooper Rd., Audubon, PA 19403. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday morning from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the Church. 

Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery in West Conshohocken.
