James J. Martinez  

James J. Martinez, 73, of Schwenksville, PA passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022. 

He was born in Norristown, Pa on December 27, 1949, the son of the late Sebastian and the late Catherine (Nally) Martinez.

James was living in Schwenksville, Pa since August, formerly of Conshohocken, Pa.

He attended Conshohocken schools.  And then served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

He started working with C & D Battery of Conshohocken, then worked as a Machine Operator with Markel Corp before retiring.

He enjoyed spending time playing pool, shuffle board, and softball in local Conshohocken leagues.

He most enjoyed spending time with friends and especially his family.

Survivors include Brother Jack ( Kim ) Martinez of Schwenksville, Pa, Sister Dolores (& Frank) Maziarz  of Conshohocken, Pa, he was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 3 sisters Patricia Godshalk, Mary "Cookie" Blonsky and Catherine Buscher and a brother Joseph Martinez.

His service and interment will be private.
