Obituary of James Kenneth Cook

James Kenneth Cook, 91, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away the morning of March 29, 2023.

Working as an electronics technician at the University of Pennsylvania, he enjoyed his work and his colleagues, and he provided for his family, whom he loved to no end. A Navy Veteran and kind neighbor to all, Jim was always there to lend a hand and have a conversation, helping his community as best he could. He enjoyed the simpler things in life, like watching MASH, exploring maps, and playing board games with his family, who felt no greater love than the love of "Pop".

He is survived by his wife Bridget, two daughters, Diane and Karen (Jeff), four grandchildren, Shannon, Kelly, Brennan, and Brian, and his sister Nancy and brother Quinn. His first great-grandson is expected in a week.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday, June 14 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St Bernadette RC Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.

Interment will take place in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
