Obituary of Margaret A. Huber

Margaret A. "Dolly" Huber, age 86, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023 with her family by her side in Collegeville, PA. She was born January 11, 1937 in Springfield, IL to Mary and Israel LaBelle.

The family moved to Chicago, IL in 1942. Margaret was a graduate of Visitation Catholic High School of the Class of 1955. She worked as a mechanical draftsman for Goodman Manufacturing Company where she met William "Bill" Huber. They married on August 23, 1958 at Visitation Catholic Church in Chicago, IL and had 41 years together before Bill's passing in 1999. They moved to North Aurora, IL in 1963 and later to Aurora, IL in 1968.

She loved animals and flower gardening.

She was in charge of Aurora's Holy Angels Catholic Church's Food Pantry for 5 years and was a parishioner for 36 years. 

She was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. 

As she so often said, "The most important things in her life were FAITH, FAMILY and FRIENDS!"

She is survived by her five children: David Huber of Collegeville, PA; Richard (Linda) Huber of Collegeville, PA; Robert (Martha) Huber of Bloomingdale, IL; Sheryl Bonnell of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Steven (Jennifer) Huber of North Aurora, IL as well as her two grandchildren Matthew Huber of New York City, NY and Lauren Huber of Norristown, PA and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill and sister Donna Deutsch, as well as Bill's six sisters.

Her local cremation visitation will be held at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 W. Main St., Collegeville, PA 19426 on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.  A Prayer Service will follow at 7:30 PM in the funeral home.  All local friends of hers are invited to join her family at that time.

The family will then escort her to her family's Catholic Church in Aurora, IL.  Arrangements for a Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church are pending and will be announced when they become available. 

According to her wishes, interment will follow Mass at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, IL and will be private.

She has requested that memorial contributions be made to The  American  Heart Association.
