Obituary of Angela "Julie" Yacovelli

Angela "Julie" (Romano) Yacovelli, 97, of Upper Gwynedd, formerly of Conshohocken, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2016 with her loving family at her side. She was born in Norristown, PA on March 5, 1919 to the late John and Florence (Palumbo) Romano. Julie was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore N. Yacovelli. She was a faithful member of the former SS. Cosmas & Damian RC Church of Conshohocken. Julie devoted her life to her family and showed love to all who knew her. Survivors include her two sons, Richard A. Yacovelli of Upper Gwynedd and Robert J. (& Janet) Yacovelli of Harleysville, grandchildren, Michael, Steven and Jennifer Yacovelli, brother, Anthony (Jack) Romano, three sisters, Anna Romano, Mary Gualtieri and Rita Forlano, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph and Nick Romano, and sister, Theresa Murphy. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 10:30 AM from the St. Matthew's RC Church, Third & Fayette Streets, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Friends may call on Tuesday evening, July 19 from 6-8 PM and on Wednesday morning from 9 – 10 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street Conshohocken PA 19428. Interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Gwynedd Square Nursing Home, 773 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446.
