Obituary of Anita Merlin Moraes

Anita Merlin Moraes, age 37, of Collegeville, PA passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023.

She was born in Mumbai, India on March 5, 1986, the daughter of Bonaventure and Leena (Mendonca) Menezes.

Anita has been living in Collegeville for 10 years.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University School of Medicine.  She worked as a Physical Therapist in Spring-Ford Schools.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister.   

She enjoyed travelling, eating and painting.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her children.

She is survived by her husband, Spencer Moraes; two children, Ethan & Alaina Moraes; parents, Bonaventure & Leena Menezes; and two siblings, Anjali Sherlin Menezes (& Abhinav Dhake) and Allwyn Menezes. 

She is also survived by her father in-law and mother in-law, Sunny & Theresa Moraes; sister in-law, Samantha (& Desmond) Rozario; and two nephews Dylan & Damian Rozario.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 18 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at St. Ann's Church, 502 Main St., Phoenixville, PA 19460.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church.

Interment will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anita’s name to a charity of your choosing.
