Obituary of Peter I. Montijo

Peter I. Montijo, 28, of Blue Bell, PA passed away on July 27, 2016. He was born in Abington, PA on June 1, 1988. Peter has been a resident of Blue Bell since 1999, formerly of the Olney section of Philadelphia. He enjoyed exercising and was a passionate Philadelphia Eagles and 76ers fan. He enjoyed sports especially football and basketball. Peter played football for the Ambler-Whitpain Trojans and the Wissahickon High School Trojans. He was a beloved friend, uncle, brother and son, and will be missed by many who loved him. Peter is survived by his parents Lily and Herman Eason of Blue Bell, paternal father, Ismael Montijo, Jr. of Philadelphia, maternal grandparents, Deacon Edwin & Julia Manzano of Plymouth Meeting, paternal grandparents, Ismael & Iris Montijo of Philadelphia, and three brothers, Eric (& Michelle) Montijo of Norristown, Roman Montijo of Blue Bell, and Steve Nam of Korea. He is also survived by his beloved nephews, Eric & Charlie as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 E. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401. Friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends will be invited to share thoughts and favorite memories of Peter during the memorial service. Interment will be private.
