Obituary of Mario Orlando Lelii

Mario Orlando Lelii, age 63, of West Chester, PA passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 11, 1960, the son of the late Orlando and Norina (Buoni) Lelii.

Mario has been living in West Chester since 2015, formerly of Clifton Heights and the Overbrook and 49th Street sections of Philadelphia.  He was a self-employed General Contractor.  He was a parishioner of SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church.

Poppi loved and adored his six grandchildren. In his spare time, he was always busy going to the auction and getting into whatever projects he could get his hands on. He loved riding his motorcycle and watching the Eagles and Phillies. His favorite time of year was Christmas, and making everyone smile with his Christmas display. 

Mario is survived by his wife, Beth M. Lelii; son, Jeremy (Jennifer) Lelii; two daughters, Melissa (Tom) Hayes and Alexis Lelii; brother, Flaviano (Joann) Lelii; sister, Clara Lelii; brother, Joseph (Kim) Lelii; brother, John (Connie) Lelii; sister, Roseann (David) Morrison; brother, Vittorio (Hwa) Lelii; and sister, Norina Lelii. 

He is also survived by six grandchildren, Kaelynn, Payten, Harper, Ryan, Brookelynne and JJ; and lifelong best friend, Vince Caruso.  

His Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Saints Simon and Jude Catholic Church, 8 Cavanaugh Court, West Chester, PA 19382. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Church.

Interment will take place in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
