Born September 29, 1944, in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late George J. Treisbach and Frances (Morris) Treisbach. She was a 1962 graduate of Ambler Senior High School and earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA. She retired from her musical career after more than 70 years' work.

Miss Treisbach was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of the Wissahickon Valley Historical Society and the Montgomery County Historical Society. She enjoyed travelling and researching local history.
