James J. Mullen, Sr.  

(aka. Moon Mullen)   

James J. Mullen, Sr., 85, of Conshohocken, PA passed away Friday, March 15, 2024. 

He was born in West Conshohocken, Pa on April 12, 1938, the son of the late John and the late Helen (McCarrick) Mullin.

He was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken, Pa.

Moon was a long time Council Person for the Borough of Conshohocken.

He was a member of the Men of Malvern and the Holy Name Society of St. Mary's Church

He worked as a Self Employed Electrician after Allen Wood Steel Closed..  

He was the husband of Late - Marie  C. (Grohoski) Mullen.

Survivors include Son James (& Kathleen) Mullen, Jr. of Royersford, Daughter Lynne Marie (& Dan) McArthur of Conshohocken, also survived by his Grandchildren Danny McArthur, Kathryn McArthur, Marisa (& Ted) Wilks, Helena Mullen, James Mullen, III and Katelyn Mullen, and his Great Grand Daughter Athena Lynne Sabia.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a sister Dolly G'Dantz, and brothers John Mullen, Jr and Joseph Mullen.

His Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

There will be two viewings in advance of his funeral Mass. One will be on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA. The second will be on Saturday Morning March 23, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Interment will be in St. Benedict Cemetery, Conshohocken, Pa.
