Obituary of Mary Lou Brady

Mary Lou Brady  

 

Mary Lou (Casey) Brady, age 87, of Conshohocken, PA passed away peacefully in her home on  Saturday, May 18, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.   

She was born in Norristown, Pa on April 29, 1937, the daughter of the late Francis and the late Margaret (Hissner) Casey.

She has lived in Conshohocken area her whole life.  She was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church of Conshohocken and a graduate of St. Matthew's Catholic High School, class of 1956, where she was a member of the all girl marching band.

After school ended she was employed by Bell Telephone Company and married Donald in September of 1958.  When the youngest was school age she went back to work for Colonial School District in the cafeteria at Ridge Park Elementary.  Mary Lou was a member of George Clay Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in West Conshohocken.  She also srerved as treasurer for the auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus in Conshohocken.

Mary Lou and Don with their children started camping in the early 1970's and never stopped.  Mary Lou's favorite place was on the bay in Rehoboth Beach, DE where she spent many days playing cards and enjoying her time with the many great friends she made in the Port Delmarva community. 

 

She was the beloved wife of Donald Paul Brady for over 66 years.

 

Survivors include Husband Donald Brady of Conshohocken, Pa, Daughter Kathy (Rick) Brady-Cassel of Conshohocken, Pa, Daughter Donna (John) Bonner of Plymouth Meeting, Pa, Son Matthew Brady of Panama Beach, Fl, Daughter Margie Brady of Bridgeport, Pa, Son John Brady of Conshohocken, Pa, and her Grandchildren Tim Bonner, Katie Bonner, Shannon Bonner, and Casey Cassel, as well as a Great Grandson Darien Small, Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

 

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Jeanne Stiefel and a brother Francis Casey.

 

Her Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the church. 

 

Interment will take place in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
