Obituary of Kathleen Carbo

Kathleen "Sissy" Carbo  

Kathleen "Sissy" (Brady) Carbo, 79, of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. 

She was born in Norristown, Pa on August 21, 1944, the daughter of the late John  "Reds" Brady and the late Jane (Eliff) Brady.

Sissy has lived in Plymouth Meeting since 1965, formerly of Bridgeport where she grew up.

She was a member of Holy Saviour RC Church of Norristown, Pa.

She graduated from St. Augustine Grade School and Bishop Kenrick High School.

She worked as an Administrative Assistant with Genuardi Super Markets corporate office, where she had worked for over 20 years.

Sissy most enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  And she was very proud of her Irish Heritage.

She was the wife of James S. Carbo, for almost 60 years.

Survivors include Husband James Carbo of  Plymouth Meeting, Pa, Daughter Carla (& Christopher) Reid of Bryn Mawr, Pa, Son Jimmy John (& Franny) Carbo of East Norriton, Pa,  Brother Thomas (& Carol) Brady of East Norriton, Pa,  also survived by her Grandchildren Dr. Allison Reid, Erin Reid-Butigian, Megan Reid, Jackson Reid, Janie Carbo and JJ Carbo, and her Great Grand Daughter Reid Avery Butigian.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Jack Brady and a sister Janie Raynor.

Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, Pa 19428.

Friends may call on Saturday Morning, June 8, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be private in St. Patrick Cemetery, East Norriton, Pa. 

 Memorial Contributions may be made in Sissy's memory to Overbrook School For The Blind, 6333 Malvern Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19151.
