John E. Skilton, age 95, of Collegeville, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2024.

He was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 14, 1929, the son of the late John and Anna M. (Sedlock) Skilton.

John lived in Southampton, PA before moving to Collegeville, where he has lived for over 25 years. He was a parishioner of St. Eleanor's RC Church. He had a long career as an Educator and Administrator in the Abington School District from 1957 until his retirement in 1992.

He honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He is survived by his wife, Anne M. Skilton (née Golab) of Collegeville; son, Jonathan E. Skilton of Trappe; daughter, Anne Marie (Linford R. Jr.) Magaha of Hatboro; son, Andrew J. Skilton of Willow Grove; and five grandchildren, Catherine, Andrew, Anna, Elizabeth and Matthew.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Wilson.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM from St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church.

Interment will be private at a later date in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.
