Oh Uncle Charles:(((...seeing your obit and that beautiful, smiling pic of you is starting to make it sink in that you really are gone...honestly though I'm still trying to wrap my head around it...I guess seeing the words right there in black and white makes it all too real unfortunately...I know I hadn't visited you in many months which I apologize for (people that know me well know that I can be like that at times, where I keep my distance, and it's just my nature I know it's weird lol)...I am so happy and grateful though that I got to spend a few hours with you the day before you passed♡♡...as hard as it is I keep on reminding myself that (very much like how my father was in the last months of his life) however much pain and suffering you endured that with your passing you are finally at peace☆☆☆...I thought it was funny as I was leaving and you said, "ok, be a good girl" and I said, "yeah that's not gonna happen" lol:D and then Brian chimes in and says to you, "yeah, you're telling that to the wrong person!" Hahahaha:D...I love the fact that you could always make my mother laugh hard and I still remember when there were times that Grandmom would mention that she hated the fact that rabbits would go after her garden and how she wanted to shoot them with a bow and arrow lol and you said they would be missing ears and nicknamed them "Van Gogh" rabbits lol:)))..many good memories of course..there is that one time though after Grandpop's funeral (and of course now I feel old lol since we're going back like 25 years)...everyone was starting to head back to their cars after the service and I vaguely remembering looking back at you and you were I believe looking over at Grandmom and had this concerned, worried look on your face...kinda like well what do we do now...I never forgot that...but I try not to think about it of course...the past is the past but for me it's always been hard for me to let go and I tend to dwell in it...but enough about me lol this rememberance is for you...I want you to know Uncle Charles that I love you so so much and that will never end♡♡...and that you were such a wonderful uncle...I wish that I had the chance to get to know Uncle Michael because something tells me that we would've had a lot in common and gotten along really well buuut I had to settle for you lol just kidding;) I wouldn't trade our relationship for anything...you will be dearly missed♡♡♡.
All my love,
Courtney♡
