Psalm 116:15-16KJV15 “ Precious in the sight of the LORD Is the death of His saints.16 O LORD, truly I am Your servant; I am Your servant, the son of Your maidservant; You have loosed my bonds” .Yes, the death of a loved one is precious/costly insight of the Lord and equally in the to the loved ones, although at a different level. It is costly, as in painfully devastating to those left behind. However, loved ones now fully understand the ‘sting’ of death and the anguish and depth of sorrow. Yet, there is freedom from the encumbrances of the world for the dearly departed. I will miss “Uncle.” His humor, laughter, and nostalgic stories of days will remain in my heart. Uncle Donald lived life and enjoyed it. Even going through the aging process, he was not devoid of times of happiness and joy.
