While I only met your mom a few times Connie, I know what a wonderful woman she had to be. I look at you my friend and see how intelligent, strong, caring and dedicated you are in all you touch, and I believe that came from your mom. Dear Linda, Connie and Mr. Bloss - I wish I had the words to describe the kind of friendship Flo has given our family over the past 50 years. She was the kind of person you wanted to hear from and be around and always put a big smile on our faces. We will never get that back, but we'll always hold her memory fondly in our hearts forever. My deepest condolences to the Bloss and Manno families on the loss of Flo. I remember her as a wonderfully bright, friendly, caring and funny woman, and she will be greatly missed. She was a pioneer in her career, providing leadership and service to her community, and I know she was an inspiration to her daughters, and all who knew her. Flo and Bob have been our good friends and neighbors for over 50 years. They and we have hosted many neighborhood outings and backyard parties over the years. Their daughters were our kids friends and went to the same schools. From Horseshoe Tournaments to Pocono Pals to serendipity backyard weekend get togethers, Flo and Bob were a significant part of our lives. Flos passing creates another void in our lives as have the passing of other great neighbors who shared in the friendship of the Bloss's and Janetkas. I was proud to be the Treasurer for Flo's successful first political office.

Flo was a wonderful mother-in-law and grandmother to Alexandra and Matthew. I will always be grateful to how warmly she and Bob welcomed me to the family and treated me like a son. Over the years I have enjoyed hearing her incisive observations of local, state and national politics. She had a razor sharp mind, and a view of government grounded in real world experience gained from a life time of experience talking with neighbors, friends and professional colleagues in Montgomery County. Every time I entered her home over the past 25 years I was warmly welcomed with a hug, a cold glass of Turkey Hill iced tea and a table full of snacks. When Linda and I started bringing her grandchildren to visit they were showered with love, presents, and treats. She will be fondly remembered and missed.
